Shri Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Wardha Affiliated to Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women’s University Mumbai, is established in the year 2016 under Shri Rushiprasad Bahuuddeshiya Shikshan Sanstha, Wardha with the aim of women empowerment. The College is affiliated to renowned Women’s University, “Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey University, Mumbai”. The College is running the Bachelor of Computer (B.Com.), Bachelor of Clinical Laboratory Science [B.Sc(CLS)], Master of Commerce (M.Com) Course. The college has specious class-rooms, seminar hall, ICT rooms, examination control room, staff room, library with reading room, playground, administration block, NSS room, girl’s common room. College has well qualified, young, energetic, dynamic and dedicated staff. The institute always envisioned with the overall development of the student through various technical workshops, seminars, skill development workshops, sports and NSS camp, cultural activities. Shri Rushiprasad Bahuuddeshiya Shikshan Sanstha, Wardha is one of the leading educational institutions established in 2005. It has four well established colleges in its fold. Our aim is to give quality education at the most affordable cost o the student. The institute focuses on all round development of students, trust on practical orientation and personality development. About Shri Rushiprasad Bahuuddeshiya Shikshan Sanstha, Wardha
Shri Rushiprasad Bahuuddeshiya Shikshan Sanstha, Wardha began its journey in 2005 with the motto of ‘Service to Society’. While holding medical camps and starting a Public Library, the Sanstha soon realized the need to establish a college for women. In 2015, thus was born Shri Mahila Mahavidyalaya situated at Kachnoor, Tah. Arvi, Dist Wardha with the aim to provide affordable and accessible education to women students. In these SItuation the college has taken valuable strides in the direction of offering low cost but quality education to the underprivileged section of society.
The college now offers new age courses in Commerce And Science. It possesses the mantle of being the only college in the area offering higher education. The aim to empower women through education, while preserving the traditional cultural values, is constantly adhered to by the management and the faculty.

From the Principal’s Desk
For an institution such as ours to retain the dynamism and remain in demand the key is to reinvent oneself. For a progressive institution to grow and develop it is imperative that it must introspect, reinvent and find new challenging paths. The college adopted the NEP curriculum which has given wings to the students.
In this fast-changing era, I think that the person who needs to adapt the most is – the teacher. It is the job of teachers to turn sleepy faces into curious ones, make teaching fun and mainly be that teacher we all have who we remember fondly all our lives. The trick to become that teacher is the human connect — connection with the heart of students. The red pen given to us is very powerful — it can leave brutal scars or elevate self-esteems, so let’s use it wisely. Technologies will change, Apps will come and go but it’s us, the teachers that will make a difference. Let’s learn students’ names, laugh with them, be kind and empathetic to them and make the self-confident women ready to take on the world.
The college initiated many new projects for the teachers that can change lives like the mentoring project and Diversity and Inclusion training for the teachers.
I feel indebted to the management for always supporting all our causes and inspiring me personally to aim higher. We all are blessed to live the vision of the college — “to Enlighten and Empower Women to Enhance the Quality of Society”.
